CamGuard and Corrosion With Avgas prices soaring, no pun intended, you just aren’t flying as often and you know this can spell disaster for your engine. Pitting corrosion on the cam or lifters can mean an early overhaul while a little cylinder rust, real start up wear, can lead to the need for an early top. CamGuard prevents rust and corrosion while your plane sits idle. If you fly 100 hours a year, your plane sits 8660 hours, patiently waiting. Change your oil at least 4 times a year and add 5% CamGuard with every oil change. Many thanks go to ASL CamGuard who donated two (2) cases of CamGuard to be given away during our 7th Annual BBQ Dinner. |
